PROPERTY developer Acmar International Group celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Bandar Baru Klang integrated township recently.
The company, together with the Selangor Council of Justices of the Peace, showed its appreciation for the township’s community by hosting a buka puasa for 50 senior citizens from several homes at the Klang Executive Club.
Acmar International employees and its business partners were also invited.
Acmar International chairman Datuk Abdul Samad Maharudin said the company wanted to thank the communities, partners, associates and team members for their support and encouragement in making the township a beautiful place to live in.
“Our celebration is a thanksgiving of sorts as we have succeeded in turning plantation land into a thriving integrated township with proper amenities and good connectivity.
“We are focused on continuing to grow with our communities in Bandar Baru Klang.
“Our team is working on the completion of Palm Garden Apartments, Block A and the launch of Palm Garden Block C.
“There is also the commencement of work on Acmar Hotel and Suites, which is targeted to be completed in late 2015,” said Abdul Samad.
Also present at the event was former Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Abu Hassan Omar, who shared with the guests his experiences in witnessing the development of Bandar Baru Klang.
“We must congratulate Acmar International Group founder Tee Leh Teck for his vision, as well as his two sons, group managing director Datuk Steven A.S. Tee and group executive director Johnson Tee Kim Hock, for having strong leadership qualities in leading the company and building Bandar Baru Klang,” he said.
